Dr. Timothy J. Garnett, M.D., is a seasoned physician-executive with over 30 years of experience in drug development, regulatory affairs, and medical safety. He served as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President at Eli Lilly and Company from 2008 to 2021, overseeing global clinical operations and guiding multiple therapies from research to approval.

Trained in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Garnett previously practiced in women’s health and held clinical research roles at Organon Laboratories. He earned his MBBS from St. George’s Hospital Medical School in London and is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FFPM).

Since retiring from Lilly, Dr. Garnett has remained active in the biotech sector, serving as a board member and advisor to companies including MapLight Therapeutics, Ophirex, Carmot Therapeutics, Ukko, and Lindus Health.
