Yes, we offer same-day pediatric appointments for illnesses, minor injuries, and urgent concerns. Call your nearest DAP Health clinic early in the day to secure a spot. Find a location near you.
Do you provide vaccinations and school physicals?
Yes, we offer (and strongly encourage) routine and seasonal childhood vaccinations, and regularly provide school-required physicals (including sports and camp physicals) as needed.
At what age should my child start being seen by a pediatrician?
Pediatric care begins at birth. Newborns should have their first checkup within the first week of life, followed by regular well-child visits throughout infancy, childhood, and adolescence.
What should I bring to my child’s first appointment?
Please bring your child’s immunization records, insurance card (if applicable), any medications currently being taken, and a list of any medical concerns or symptoms you’d like to discuss with the provider.
How often should my child have a well-child visit?
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends well-child checkups within five days of birth, then at 2-4 weeks, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 24 months, 2 and a half years, 3 years, and annually thereafter up to age 18.
