UBI Program – February Update

As promised, DAP Health is providing monthly updates regarding its administration of the Palm Springs Universal Basic Income Pilot Program.

On Monday, January 27, the regular monthly meeting between DAP Health and the participants in the Universal Basic Income pilot program the nonprofit oversees on behalf of the city of Palm Springs was held.

Due to February 1 being a Saturday, direct deposit payments of $800 for February were sent on Friday, January 31, to all 14 participants by DAP Health.

Furthermore:

  • Four participants have yet to complete their quarterly survey. DAP Health Chief Transformation Officer C.J. Tobe, who oversees the program, has reminded these individuals that they need to complete their survey.
  • Participants have been contacted to confirm their first month’s deposit, and their 18th and last month’s deposit.
  • For some participants, their last payment will occur on March 1, 2025. For others, it will be July 1, 2025.
